The Vitae Cantamus Choir competed in their first ATKV-APPLOUS competition in 2011 in the category “Nie-Afrikaans Moedertaalsprekend, minder ervare hoërskoolkore”.
As they won the different categories over the years, they challenged themselves each year to compete in a higher category.
In 2022, they were crowned champions in the ‘Ope-Afdeling’.
In 2023, 2024 and now in 2025, they came 2nd in the category “Prestige Hoërskoolkore, Meisies”.
