Lets start 2024 on a high! Congrats to Bianca Rees-Gibbs!
During the December 2023 holidays, Bianca Rees-Gibbs has represented South Africa internationally on the squash court.
She played two tournaments, both
in the girls’ u/17 age group.From 6-9 December she played in the REDtone 15th Kuala Lumpur Junior Open in Malaysia, where she won 3 matches and lost 3 matches, finishing 12th out of 64 players.
With this result she finished highest of the South African girls.
From 13-16 December she played in the ONCOCARE Singapore Junior Open, where she won 3 matches and lost 2 matches, finishing 10th out of 32 players.
We wish to congratulate Bianca on her outstanding performances on the international stage.
Bianca receives sport science support from (Sport Scientist) Elsabé le Roux at the FSSSI, as part of the FS Academy’s sport programme.
