The annual Puppet Show by our Gr 10 drama students was hosted in the Eunice
theatre for the 8th year.
They performed to 240 grade 1 and 2 learners from Eunice Primary School, who
enjoyed themselves
The young girls interacted, sang the familiar songs with the students and definitely made no secret of who their favourite characters were. Even the EPS teachers had a good laugh.
The 34 drama students wrote their own texts, recorded the voice overs professionally
and made their own puppets out of socks.
What better way to learn the necessary skills and microphone techniques and to prepare for their life on stage. This way, the new students can familiarise themselveswith the stage and it’s in a safe and positive environment, not being completely intimidated for their first time on stage.
