Equestrian – SA Youth Champs
The Westown SA Youth Champs was held at Shongweni Club and South Africa’s top young riders came together to compete in showjumping, dressage, showing, equitation and eventing.
Congratulations to our riders:
Lané Laubscher (photo 1) was announced as the double South African Champion winning the FEI Junior Individual Gold Medal on Razdi Pick Me and the FEI Pony Rider Individual Gold Medal on Lemax Cosmic!
She also won the Freestyle title on Cosmic and was the Victor Ludorum for both the Junior and Pony Rider Championships.
Lané achieved the highest score of 74% across all classes at the show.
Abigail Muller (photo 2) represented the Free State Show jumping team and they won silver in the 70cm event. Individually, Abigail placed 13th out of 25 riders.
