FS CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPS
The Eunice runners did really well in the 4km race at the Free State championships.
Inge van Staden (u16) won silver in 15.46.
19th: Amelia Vincent (u15) in 20.20.
21st: Sami Maritz
26th: Marga Franke (u14) in 21:08.
It was an excellent day, but still very emotional for all the runners, because it was the final XC league that Mrs Dominique Guillaume attended.
The girls dedicated the race to her and said: “Thank you for always being there to support our Eunice athletes, not only at the cross country, but also at all the track and field events. We will miss you.”
Mrs Guillaume accepted a position in Panama City and will be saying goodbye to Eunice on Thursday.
