‘LITTLE SISTERS’ AT EUNICE HIGH SCHOOL

Our Grade 7 sisters from Eunice Primary School visited Eunice High School to spend the day walking in the shoes of their ‘big sisters’.

The Cheerleaders welcomed the Grade 7s and their educators with lots of spirit before they entered the Adéle de Jager hall for the official welcome and opening.

The day started and ended with fun, laughter and learning as the ten groups alternated to visit the different venues.

In the Paul Cassar hall, they could learn more about the following:
* Academics
* Sport
* Culture
* Services (Digital, First Aid, Greenheart, Library etc.)
* Clubs (Adventure, Photography, Catering Foreign Culture and Language etc.)
* Wellness (Learner Support, Spirit, Social events and Mentorship etc.)

They visited these exciting venues:
* Life Centre (learnt about communication from our counsellors).
* Library (played scavenger hunt to find some books)
* Digital Lab (tried their hand at some coding on the laptops)
* Maths class (played maths bingo)
* Science lab (they did some exciting experiments)
* Consumer lab (decorated a cupcake for Easter)
* Theatre (drama and fun exercises)
* Art Centre (they made a special Easter card)
* Eunice House (nothing better than games and waffles at the hostel)

At the end of the day, the learners and parents had the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about high school life at Eunice.

Thank you to everyone who attended and to all who were involved in the magical adventure.
