We celebrated D.E.A.R period (Drop Everything And Read) where learners are encouraged to bring a book to school and read it during register, or visit the library to take out a book to read.
What made yesterday extra special, is that each learner also received their own bookmark as a gift.
This beautiful bookmark was sketched and then digitally designed by our own Tlholego Mpesi in Grade 9R.
Thlolego loves historical books and obviously art!
